JIM HUGHES, CRPC, CBC

Jim is the owner of Texas Financial Center. He started the brokerage agency business in 1997 with zero clients and today has hundreds of clients that depend on the brokerage agency for help with insurance.

Jim is an 8th generation Texan, his 5th great grandfather, Rev. Henry Stephenson, is in the history books as one of the first circuit riding ministers that arrived in the Texas territory around 1815. The Rev. Stephenson was also one of the founders of McMahon Chapel which is believed to be the first protestant church established in Texas.

Jim spent 10 years in the United State Naval Reserve’s rising to the rank of Chief Petty Officer (E7) in the ‘Seabee’s’. Jim and his wife Rita have 4 children and enjoy RV’ing, Snow Skiing, Scuba Diving and growing as much of their own food as possible on their small family farm. Jim’s philosophy in life and business is ‘Do what’s right no matter what and you can’t go wrong’ The Million Dollar Round Table is the Premier Association of Financial Professionals of which Jim has earned membership several years based on his ability to serve the needs of his clients.

Jim earned the Chartered Benefits Retirement Counselor (CRPC) designation from the College for Financial Planning in Greenwood Village, CO and also has the Chartered Benefits Consultant (CBC) designations.
